I discovered this shop after I got my hair cut at Belissimo on Mott.  My stylist Fredi has been cutting my hair in random friends’ salons while he’s between gigs.  This time it landed me right in front of my new favorite boutique.  The windows drew me in where I discovered a great assortment of tops, tunics and dresses.  I grabbed a card and said I’d be back.

Since I’d seen the shop I was obsessed with going back to buy summer clothes, so I dragged my friend Tricia to bbL over lunch today.  It has been a long time since I’ve seen so many appealing items in one place.  Tricia was impressed as well.  Many of the tops and dresses are beautifully draped in all the right places.  They have elegant necklines and draped details that are incredibly flattering.  The dresses are all work appropriate and hip at the same time.  The designer herself was in the shop and she assisted us with our selections and offered suggestions on how to wear the items.  The prices are fairly reasonable, but we both did some damage!  We both bought the same gorgeous sleeveless draped cowl neck blouse w/knit jersey T-back.  Tricia even bought TWO colors.  She also got a gorgeous black dress with nice detail at the shoulders.  I went with two casual fun tunics.

Next time I am in the neighborhood I will get some photos of the shop itself since I was so busy shopping it slipped my mind!   In the meantime there doesn’t seem to be anything available online so I’ll share one of my purchases…the others didn’t photograph too well on my bedroom door.
