My friend Maria and I discovered this place when we wanted to eat at Han Bat next door and it was overly crowded as usual. This was a few years ago, long before the Adam Platt review! It’s been a lunch spot staple for us. And I highly recommend it. It’s nothing fancy for a dinner, but it is far better than the usual Koreatown spot. The decor is a bit more upscale but the prices are still right.

The menu is overwhelming – a 12 pager! But recently they overhauled the whole thing to include photos of every dish which is helpful. Truly nothing is bad. If you are an adventurous eater just go for it! If not, stick with the Bi Bim Bop hot pot. It’s a great standby.
