4th of July before they got totally slammed!
2011
We’ve been to the Brooklyneer twice and had a great experience both times. We met two of the owners, Aaron and Billy and both times Steve was the bartender. They remembered us our second time and we felt at home very quickly. On our second visit, they were out of most of the beers on tap, which isn’t good, but it means they got slammed, which is good. Their location is a bit off the beaten path, way on the West side of Houston. It’s great for us, right by the 1 train. The perfect bar to have a ‘nightcap’ on the way home. Unfortunately, both times it was a little more than a nightcap!
We’ve not been back since they started serving food, so we need to stop back and check it out. The decor is nicely done, especially the Flavor Paper wallpaper. This is a Brooklyn wallpaper manufacturer and it’s all super cool.

They’ve also got a photo booth…
