Mezzanine Restaurant – Tulum, Mexico
There were so many things we loved about our stay at Mezzanine Hotel in Tulum; the beach, the view, the accommodations and the service were all amazing, but we cannot forget the food. We enjoyed it so much we had almost every meal at Mezzanine Restaurant Tulum. We made a few special reservations out, but our favorite spot was ‘home’ at the hotel. As with the balance of this trip, pictures speak a thousand words. These speak for themselves…the food was Thai with a Mexican twist. Of course made with fresh local ingredients! Mezzanine has a Thai chef consultant, Dim Geefay, a well known teacher and television cooking personality (thaifoodtonight.com). She visits regularly to change up the menu and train the chefs.
The atmosphere provided both an indoor Thai experience as well as an outdoor breathtaking view. We spent the majority of time outdoors. On our first night we ate indoors and discovered the fried fish, which we would have again for lunch. This was by far our favorite Mexican meal in Tulum.
